Return & Exchange Policy

RETURNS

  1. Timeframe for Returns:


    You can request a return within thirty-five (35) days from the date your order is shipped for a full refund of the original purchase price. Alternatively, you can opt for Store Credit or Exchange within sixty-five (65) days from the shipment date. During the return process, please provide the reason for your return accurately to help us enhance our products and processes.

  2. Condition of Returned Merchandise:

    1. All returned merchandise must be in new and resalable condition. Any returned item that has been used, installed, altered, soiled, is otherwise damaged, or emits any odor will not be eligible for return or exchange.

    2. If it has been determined that any item returned to The Seat Shop differs from the item shipped to you, your refund will be withheld until the correct item is returned.

  3. VIN Requirement:


    Failure to provide a valid VIN that matches your vehicle, or omitting the VIN during the checkout process, will result in return fees, such as shipping label fees or restocking fees. If the VIN was omitted, invalid, or did not match the intended vehicle, and the item has already been installed, returns or exchanges will not be accepted.

  4. Processing Time:


    To avoid delays, please avoid returning any merchandise without first opening a return request. Most returns are processed within approximately 5-7 business days upon receipt. However, unforeseen delays may occur. Please ensure the correct items and documentation are included with your return to expedite the process. Refunds may take up to 3 additional business days to transfer to your account.

  5. Return Shipping Label Costs:


    The cost of the return shipping label may be deducted from your refund based on certain return reasons, including ordering the wrong item without providing your VIN or providing an invalid VIN, changing your mind, or no longer needing the item.

  6. Lost Packages:

    If a return package appears lost in transit, please contact us immediately.

  7. Dye Lot and Material Changes:


    Due to dye lot and material changes, we cannot accept returns for any merchandise after 65 days from the order fulfillment date. Clearance items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

EXCHANGES

  1. Timeframe for Exchanges:


    You have sixty-five (65) days from the order fulfillment date to initiate an exchange. No exchanges will be authorized after 65 days.

  2. Payment Differences:


    If the value of the item(s) being returned differs from the new item(s) being ordered, the price difference will be due at the time of exchange or refunded accordingly at the time of return.

  3. Exchange Process:


    The new exchange order will be created once the original merchandise is received, verified, and processed. Alternatively, you can authorize the immediate creation of the new exchange order by allowing your card to be charged. Failure to return the original merchandise within 14 days will result in a full charge for the new order.

FINAL SALE POLICY

Merchandise marked as Final Sale cannot be further discounted, returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances. Final Sale items are offered at a discounted price to clear out inventory due to noted imperfections or flaws. Please carefully consider Final Sale items before purchase, as all sales are final.
