What is covered by the warranty?

The Seat Shop warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials when cared for under regular conditions for two years from the date of purchase. This is a NON-TRANSFERABLE warranty and is explicitly limited to the original purchaser of the product from The Seat Shop.

Additionally, The Seat Shop reserves the right to alter, modify, or discontinue products without any obligation regarding products previously offered.

To file a warranty claim, please contact us and provide the order number, as well as the email address associated with the order. To determine if the product will be covered under warranty, adequate pictures depicting the product failure will be required and need to be submitted via email for review by The Seat Shop warranty department.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Damages not covered are those resulting from alteration, unauthorized repair, abuse, accident, improper installation, abnormal wear due to lack of foam support, or ‘cosmetic issues’ that do not affect the functionality of the seat cover resulting from common wear and tear. Any loss of use, loss of time, labor costs, or similar expenses are not covered.

‘Cosmetic issues’ refers to damage that naturally and inevitably occurs due to normal use. Regardless of how carefully you use, or how well you care for your product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear.

Common cosmetic issues not covered by the two-year warranty includes changes in color due to UV exposure or material being worn through, abrasions, and general breakdown of materials over time, especially in “high wear” areas such as the bolster or center panels.

Some examples of accidental damage are rips or cuts in material, animals chewing or clawing on the product, damage occurring from setting certain items on the product that may imprint, crease, tear, burn, stain, or otherwise damage it.

What products aren’t covered by the warranty?

Products not covered by the warranty include any third-party parts or accessories sold by The Seat Shop but not manufactured by The Seat Shop. This includes OEM foam cushions, cleaning products, hog ring pliers, retainer clips, and control panel bezels. Additionally, clearance items are also not covered by the warranty.


All warranty claims are at the sole discretion of The Seat Shop. This written limited warranty will be the only warranty authorized and accepted.
