Perfect fit on a 1996 E-150. Color was however much lighter grey.

The Seat Shop can adjust their website to show further back to 1996. Item number C-FWV-99-MG-DV. I'm guessing "MG" is Medium Grey. See if they have a Dark Grey material if you want this to match or intend to do just one cushion.

Fit perfectly. I did need to trim an 1/8 inch off one clip... that without disturbing the stitching of course. The installation video was a great help. Thank you Seat Shop! To get the seat assembly out, some WD-40 on the front bolts from under the van, and the same on the two rear nuts from under the seat. Four more 10 mm bolts for the cushion itself once the complete seat assembly was out of the van. Needed to partially back out but not remove the two backrest bolts which were snagging on the bottom cushion holding it captive. Once the cushion was removed, a light mist of WD-40 to protect thin springs and lubricate moving parts.

The material and construction of the new seat cover was of excellent quality and The Seat Shop even sewed a line up the middle on the front part to match the original pattern. Note that I have a '96 on the original sales sticker which the VIN showed was manufactured in '95. The Seat Shop spec only goes back to '97, though my body style is the same so I figured it would work, and it did perfectly.

The Seat Shop material color was a much lighter grey. My interior is a dark grey on a base '96 Econoline. and I did only the bottom cushion, so it looks a little odd, but this is a work van. Its much better than the torn mess I had before. The foam was damaged but I trimmed and contact-cemented in some carefully trimmed replacement pieces. Most people would be better to purchase new foam unless you are really patient with trimming and fitting.

Very happy and easy to install.

Thanks for sharing, Phil! Enjoy your new ride!
