I finally had time to install the drivers seat cushion and cover on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD.
It's pretty straight forward on how to replace the cushion and the cover.
The only thing that may throw someone a small curve on this generation of Chevy may be the star socket to get the seat out of the truck.
I had the star socket size that I needed so it was very easy.
The only thing I was a little concerned about was cutting the hole on the side for the electric seat controls since it didn't come with the hole precut. To he honest, I'm not sure that was an option to ask about or not?
If you take your time and go very slow with a very sharp knife, and test fit as you slowly cut the hole, you should not have to much trouble.
All in all, these are great products and I will definitely order more pieces as I need them.

Install wasn’t hard

Replaced driver side lower cushion and upper and lower cover on 2000 Silverado with leather. Did not order the arm rest and, although my original is still in good condition, it doesn’t quite match the sheen of the new seat covers. The videos are a must watch for a DYI person. Wasn’t too difficult. Covers fit perfectly and the cushions replacement was simple.

There are some minor wrinkles I couldn’t work out. Not the fault of the seat cover.

I would buy again.

This will help take off the dirt and oils that build up over time, causing the shine that you are seeing. I would also suggest using a steamer on those wrinkles if you haven't already! Great product and company

What a great product and a great company to work with. Right off the bat I mistakenly ordered the wrong color, (the result of confirming my order color in dim light) and they were more then happy to correct this for me by VIN number. Hands down, the quality is topnotch and after following their installation video was a smooth easy install. Now I can't be happier with the results, what used to be a uncomfortable "pain" while driving has become a pleasure. Yes, I will use again and recommend to others, thanks

Perfect online transaction

I was online for approximately 10 min. and I had the seat bottom, the seat bottom foam rubber bun and the armrest ordered on a Thursday and Monday @ 5:10 pm it was sitting on my porch (free shipping too). It has to be the easiest shopping experience I have ever experienced with products (upholstery) which is extremely intimidating if you do not know anything about it. I had my local guy (family owned 38 years) install the products and it turned out awesome. I've had this truck for 20 years and did not realize how much wear was on the original drivers seat other than the torn place. Med Dark Pewter Drivers upper. Color matched perfectly, the quality and fit are amazing! Install was not hard but not easy either. YouTube was a big help and the sun heating the new leather prior to installation was a huge help. I love the new look. I also redid the full passenger seat, and all the rear bottoms. They all turned out fantastic! Seat shop is great for replacement seat upholstery!

The Seat Shop is very responsive (email), produce very high-quality OG seat covers for that new car look. I saw these guys at SEMA and kept their info (a coaster on my workbench). What do you know - last month I bought a 2018 Tahoe with the driver seat needing some help. I immediately thought of The Seat Shop, ordered the driver seat bottom and installed myself. I am very happy - the seat bottom looks and feels new! (Now I wish I did the top too). Everything matches perfectly.

Definite go to for replacing OG seat covers: the company responded to my email right away, answered all my questions & shipped in very timely manner (although the shipping message said it could take up to 6 weeks, it arrived in one week)! Self-install took about 2.5 (big power seat with heater/cooler system-2018 Tahoe). Fits great, looks so nice!
