the finish on the cover is nice but the fit is loose around the foam. unfortunately they dont sell the foam replacement for these seats so you have to use the old original foam which 20 years plus and probably have shrunk or compressed over time. for a couple hundred dollars more than the cost of these covers that i had to spend my time to install ( which took alot of time to do and to make look semi decent because of the fit ) i could have had a local upholstery shop do the work and make the covers custom and fit the seats better. they gave me a price of $450 per seat for vynil and said they will fix the foam before they cover them. the upholstery shop said $600 for leather but i wanted vynil because of the wet enviroment of the lake and this is my tow vehicle for the boat. after i ordered the vynil seat covers from the seat shop and paid for them , days later they informed me they dont have the vynil seat covers anymore for my truck and i need to upgrade to the leather which i didnt want in the first place. so the bad fit and the fact they knew they dont have the vynil option but still let you order them to begin with is the reason for 2 stars. save your time and go to the uphostery guys and you will get what you want done. also now that im writing this i realize the upholstery guys nynil seats would have been the same price for the seat covers i got from the seat shop leather covers since they gave me a discount after i called back about the 20% deal they were offering for thanksgiving holiday. this review is for both the covers top and bottom because i dont want to type all this again.
Hey Bob, thanks for your feedback. As I mentioned on the phone with you, you originally placed your order in the wrong color (in all vinyl).
We contacted you about that issue, but by switching to your correct color, we didn't have the vinyl match for your specific color insert, so the only option was the OEM Leather/Vinyl match. You agreed to that swap.
Additionally, we honored an extra discount, even though you were far outside of the sale window.
The fit for our covers is a match for the original covers. If your foam cushions are worn out or compressed, you or the upholstery shop doing the installation needs to repair or replace those foam cushions.
