Medium Parchment - OEM replacement

I am recovering the original equipment (OE) leather rear bench seat in my 2002 F-350 Lariat, Crew-Cab. The top seat cover attached exactly like the OE using hog rings. New seat cover matched the color and grain of the OE. Very pleased with the fit and function with the exception of a major crease on the upper right side next to the fold down armrest. It was more than a wrinkle. I called and spoke with the Seat Shop about the issue. They informed me to apply steam to stretch the crease out. I did just that. I applied steam and worked the area by massaging the leather in all directions away from the crease in order to pull it out. It worked the area for 20 minutes applying steam off and on and working the area. It worked! There is still an ever-so-slight notice due to the length of time between installing the covers and steam working the crease . . . but it is gone. I will probably work the area again to completely remove it. But in this particular case, for this product, I needed a steam machine to DIY the top cover, but it was only this one area. Others may not need to do this.

Some minor differences in the material used (i.e. different attachment clips from what the OE used; material covering was vinyl/leather as opposed to color matching carpet on the OE) and the backing was medium parchment matching vinyl as opposed to the oe black nylon mesh on the original.

Again, very happy with these replacement, factory matching seat covers!!

Thanks for the thorough review and for sharing your experience recovering your F-350’s rear bench! We're glad to hear the fit and color matched your OE setup and that the install went smoothly overall. We appreciate you putting in the extra effort to steam your cover, and it's great to hear the result turned out well.

As for the minor differences you mentioned—good eye. We aim to stay as true to the original design as possible, but there are a few areas where we use improved or more readily available materials. Our goal is always durability and ease of installation, especially for DIYers like yourself.

Thanks again for the feedback—and for trusting us with your truck. Let us know if we can help with anything else down the road. Enjoy your ride!
