When creating our Durofoam line, we took our time to match the factory specifications but INCREASED the density, creating a tougher, firmer, more durable foam cushion. Your seat cover will install directly to the new foam cushion using the same attachment methods as the OEM cushion. If you have heated seats, your OEM heater will easily transfer to the new Durofoam cushion. This model is manufactured with a reinforced backing underneath to help prevent the seat frame or spring assembly from cutting into the cushion. Stop putting up with aches, pains, and numb legs. Perfect!

Seat was a perfect fit into the existing cover. The videos made installation easy, only about an hour.

The only issue was that I sit higher and had to adjust the shoulder bracket up on the seat belt. I'm sure that the extra support will help my back and hip issues.

Easy to replace cushion

We have a 2018 GMC 2500 Van that has been used quite heavily and the drivers seat was extremely worn with internal support exposed. We purchased the bottom cover along with the cushion. Shipping was quick, the cushion and seat cover were replaced very easily and quickly. The driver is happy with the replacement cover and cushion. While the replacement cover did not match the fabric pattern the original cover had, the color was extremely close and it looks very good. We are happy with the results.

Perfect match, great result

I replaced the bottom cushion, top and bottom cover (medium dark pewter cloth), and armrest cover on our 2012 Express cargo van using The Seat Shop. Removal and disassembly of the seat was easy with the help of their how-to video. Removing the armrest from the seat back was a little more complicated, but is easily accomplished by working the top cover up the seat back to give access to the c clip retainer. Once I had the seat disassembled, reassembly using the new cushion was much easier than I expected. Upholstery work definitely requires a little more finesse than other vehicle repairs, but patience is key.

Both seat covers require velcro strips to line up with the cushion -- the factory velcro is glued to the foam, which degrades over time. I had to super glue most of the velcro back onto the foam before reassembly, which wasn't expected but also wasn't complicated. The super glue bond was adequate for realigning the covers and achieving a professional result.

The new bottom cushion is so comfortable, it makes the entire process worth it. I would not recommend replacing the covers without also replacing the cushion -- trust me, if your cover is worn out, the cushion is too. We sit much higher in the new seat with new foam.

10/10, wish I could include a photo because the end result looked like it was from the GM factory. We will do this on the rest of our fleet as the seats wear out.

2017 F250 with cloth seats. The installation video was an exact match. For my truck so I just followed the video and did the replacement in less than an hour. HELPFUL HINT - but the new cushion!!!! Don’t mess with the old cushion, mine was in worse shape than I thought. Reusing the old one would have screwed up the new cover. And the new cover matches perfectly. So very happy with results. Looks great and feels even better!

I bought a seat cushion and seat cover for my 2004 dodge ram. No surprises except one items showed up a week before I expected them.
Install videos were spot on so installation went smoothly. The fit and color are just like original OEM. There is such a difference between my 20 year old cushion and seat cover I can't begin to explain it here. The Seat Shop delivered exceptional product at a fair price and very timely delivery.
I didn't realize how bad my seat was until I replacing them with Seat Shop components.
