This seat replaced the original seat for a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. It's a little too firm for my liking. I hope it softens up over the next few months. I was referred to this brand by the installer. I should have read some of the other reviews before buying. It seems the firmness of the seat is the main complaint.

Hi John! Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our Durofoam cushions are intentionally made firmer than the factory foam so they hold their shape and resist breaking down over time. They may soften a little as they break in, but they’re designed to stay on the firmer side for long-term support and durability.

Comfort can definitely be subjective, and we understand everyone has their own preference when it comes to firmness. We appreciate you giving us a try, and we’re here if you have any questions or need anything going forward!

Well made but too hard for me!

The customer service is amazing. I had lots of questions trying to decide if the durafoam was right for me, they were very patient and helpful. Fast delivery and well made cushion. Unfortunately, the durafoam is to hard/stiff for me, so it hurts my hips, low back and tailbone area. At first I could only sit for 10 minutes before I started hurting, the foam has broken in a little,but I could not drive more then a half an hour sitting on them, which is not realistic. I was expecting firm but more of an antifatigue foam, which for me it is not. So glad these cushions work so well for so many of you, but sadly, I am going to have to find another cushion.

The new foam is nice and sturdy and provides much better support while driving and I no longer have pain in my leg and hips from the old, worn out cushion.

Needed to replace the upper and lower heating elements in my 05 Tahoe. The OEM upper heat element was burned badly, This part worked great seems to be well made. Gets very toasty! Only with the replacement lower element got just as hot. I do recommend this for your seats.

Bought both the cover and the cushion and they went in easy and look like new. I do wish there was more on the removal of the seat from the truck. Newer seats are a lot different than the previous years. Wasn't quite prepared for that. All in all took about 2 hours for the entire process.
