Excellent Quality and Match - Wrinkles May be an Issue

Ordered the seat cover and cushion. Arrived promptly. The color match was very good although the old upholstery was aged and patinaed. The four-part videos were excellent. Everything fit very well. I think hog ring pliers are virtually essential for doing this properly. Only problem I've found are the wrinkles in the central portion of the seat - same as those in the photo. These are noticeable when sitting in the seat - I assume they will smooth out and conform once the seat breaks in. I'm giving it a 4 star for that reason - if they smooth out it is definitely a 5-star.

Regarding the “wrinkles” — what you’re seeing is actually called bunching, and it was part of the original manufacturer’s design. Over time, your original seats may have smoothed out from years of use, making the bunching less noticeable until now.

Top Quality

Fit my 2001 Excursion Limited perfectly! Install videos were spot on and gave me the confidence to do the install myself. I replaced the tops and bottoms of both front seats. After doing the passenger side, the driver side took half the time. The leather looks to be really high quality and well put together...great workmanship! Really happy I did it after years of procrastinating. I usually don't write reviews, but The Seat Shop really deserved my time and recognition! Well done!!!

Good solution to repair 20 year old truck

I purchased this for my 2001Excursion Limited. Fit and finish is excellent! Matched the existing color. Best part is all the how to videos that make the install easy!

The new cushion itself is very good lifted me up at least 2 to 3 inches ,ordered the gray All vinyl cover but was sent the gray cloth (said all vinyl on the invoice) but I’m actually glad they did that cause I like it better just doesn’t match the passenger side now,the guy that I ordered from was nice and very helpful on the phone, I may be ordering the back rest cover soon and would want the cloth gray of that too so it matches The Seat

Actually ordered the all vinyl gray and that’s what it says on the invoice, but I was sent the cloth Gray and I like it better than the actual vinyl looks really nice

This is my second leather bottom seat replacement. The first was an Expedition and this one was an F-150 Lariat. I might be mistaken, but I thought the seems and backing were better on the Seat Shop leather covers than the OEM ones I removed. Everything fit perfectly and the sewn in poly clips were exactly where they needed to be. Well made. Very happy.

So I took on the replacement today, turned out to be a success! I was doubting, using the new foam because my old wasn't too bad and I was worried about replacing the seat heat. Boy am I glad I did use the new foam. I struggled a little with getting the electrical connectors disconnected, I did not remove the whole seat from the truck. (Not advised). I had a good foam and leather replacement, following the videos provided by The Seat Co. And the reinstall went pretty quick. Only problem now is that the upper looks bad now😕.
