Very nice product

The material, color, texture and fit were spot on.

I watched the video (it could be half that length) and went at it with the recommended tools and a friends pneumatic staple gun.

It took me about 2 hours start to finish and I'm sure I could do it in under an hour if I ever do it again.

I only had 1/4" and 3/8" staples and 1/4" worked will in most areas. The 3/8" are too long on the hinge side (I could feel the points through the material), no big problem, just pulled them out and used the 1/4".

The plastic trim helps to hold the staples in so I don't see how the shorter staples could pull out.

I'll add that it was shipped in just a couple of days. Much faster than expected.

Great product

Everything with this product was spot on. Color, texture, fit, was all great. Watched the installation video, was still a little apprehensive about doing this. Never did any sort of interior automotive work before. But was rather easy, and turned out well. Next up, driver seat foam and cover! Thx guys, great ‘made in Texas’ product! Keep up the good work!!

Great Match

Great match to the original - color, fit, and material quality all good. Installation video was excellent in helping with removal of old and install of new. I used a heavy duty staple gun with 1/4" staples - video recommended 5/32" staples and that's pretty much what came out of the original. 1/4" staples seemed to work ok. If you have access to one I highly recommend use of a pneumatic staple gun built for upholstery. What I used worked but didn't have quite enough power for some areas. The pneumatic would have reached better into some of the tight spots and I think would have more power. One thing that wasn't perfect - during shipping the cover was folded so it would fit in the box. Those folds are still visible after install but they do seem to be becoming less noticeable over time as the material relaxes into the installed shape. Great product, great video - this part of my car looks new again! Price was good too!

2006 GMC, after 300K+ miles, my driver seat had separated, exposing the foam. I ordered a foam base and replacement covers for seat, back, & arm rest.
The first great thing was The Seat Shop caught that my color selection didn't match the VIN decoded color, so they emailed and confirmed that they were right and fixed this during the order!
All the items were correct, shipped well, and I went to work. The videos were clear, easy to follow, and I won't say it was easy replacing the seat surfaces, it was doable, even for this "senior citizen" and the seat feels like new. I'm sitting about an inch taller on the replacement foam, probably at the OEM new position. And the truck has that new leather smell! I'm ready for the next 20 years and hundreds of thousands of miles! Thanks for the products.
